Rueve, Jeanne J. (nee Fries), beloved wife of the late Robert J. Rueve. Loving mother of Barbara (Eugene "Butch") Otting, John (Peggy) Rueve, Michael (Lynn) Rueve, Arlene (Tom) Mendel, JoAnn (Tim) Hardig and Mark (Becky) Rueve. Devoted grandmother of Michelle Bittner, Jonathan Otting, Ryan Rueve, Kimberly Wascak, Kristine Hardig, Michael Otting, Jessica Ruff, Rosanne Linden, Lara Pyne, Elizabeth Sommerschield, Philip Rueve, Angela Evans, Nathan Mendel, Robyn Safford and Justin Rueve and 23 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Audrey (Tom) Berry, Charles "Chuck" (Ava) Fries and the late Mary (Stan) Burger. Also survived by numerous cherished nieces, nephews and friends. Beloved daughter of the late Gladys (Guethlein) Fries and Charles Fries. Jeanne passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the age of 94. Jeanne was a longtime parishioner of St. Jude Church where she also worked as church secretary for many years in addition to being an active member of the Rosary Altar Society and Legion of Mary. Until age 92, she was a loyal volunteer and member of the Auxiliary at St. Francis-St. George Hospital, Mercy Franciscan Hospital, and Mercy West Hospital. Playing Bridge with friends was one of her favorite pastimes. She also enjoyed her Red Hats group luncheons. Jeanne loved life, especially spending time with family and friends. Visitation Sunday, from 3pm to 7pm at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave. (Westwood). Words of Remembrance will begin at 10:15 am Monday, at St. Jude Church, 5924 Bridgetown Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45248 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Reception to follow.
