Mr. Steve Holt will truly be missed. I cannot express enough my gratitude for having known him, in addition to the many things he did for me personally. He was always such a warm and welcoming person Anyone who knew Steve, knew how caring he was, especially toward Chris, Zach, Kortney and Michael. He loved his kids so much, and he was an amazing father. His house was always full of his kid's friends, and most of us whom were fortunate enough to grow up in his presence felt his fatherly love as well. His love for his children extended to his children's friends, and that is truly an amazing thing.
Looking at many of the pictures that have been shared of Steve this week, I was reminded of his fantastic smile, which some might say was a straight face. Without realizing it, I think I have been attempting to perfect that smile which he mastered for most of my adulthood. I never played poker against him, but I imagine he was pretty good at it.
Steve,
Thank you for being in my life, and for being a great man. You were a great presence in many people's lives, and I am truly grateful. You are already missed very much.
Chris, Zach, Kortney and Michael,
I send my deepest sympathy to you all. While I know that this is a very sad time, I also know that you can probably feel his presence within you. He did a great job raising you guys, and instilling great values. When I think of a man, I think of Mr. Steven Holt. He was one of the greatest that I have ever known. I am sad that I am not able to be in Cincinnati, but just know that I am with you all in spirit, and my heart has been heavy this week thinking about the loss of such a great person. I send my love and condolences to you guys and to your entire family.
Sincerely,
Justin
