Furney, Mark Edward, age 64. Recent resident of Hubbard, Ohio. Formerly of St. Leon, Indiana. Passed away on October 5, 2017.

He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on December 1, 1952 to Robert and Doris Furney. Survivors include his mother, his son, Nick (Jenna) Furney, and daughter, Rachel Furney, one sister, April Janovick. He was preceded in death by his father and sister Robin Delbane.

Formerly employed as Director of Engineering and/or Quality at Campbell Hausfeld, Richards Industries, Liebel Flarsheim, Prestolite Electric, Delco Remy, Hill-Rom, Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Boston Scientific, finishing out his career with his own consulting LLC.

A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday November 4th at 10am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 509 Harrison Ave Harrison, Ohio 45030. Inurnment with military honors will follow at the church cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to the VA Medical Center, Voluntary Service Office 3200 Vine St. Cincinnati, OH 45220, 1st Floor.
