Mark was my squadron mate in the 496 TFS (Hahn Air Base, Germany), brother in arms and friend. I was saddened to hear of Marks' passing, especially at such a young age. Mark and his family enriched our lives in countless ways...we shared many laughs & beers together in the Squadron Bar and around Europe on many deployments flying the world's greatest jet together...and I'm so grateful that Mark was a part of our lives. As Mark completes his journey "West", as we say in our business, he goes with the love and admiration of me and so many other fighter pilots who flew with him. And until we see each other again, RIP dear friend! "Abner"
