Grief is a serious subject and difficult to explain to any audience. Probably only those who have experienced it can truly understand the impact it has on any individual. The program that Janet Seiffert-McGrath and Eileen Disbennett presented to my students was beyond my expectations. Having suffered through a grief process myself, I was anticipating a rather somber and depressing evening. However, the program was just as they promote it "A light hearted look at a serious subject". The use of costumes, props, drawings, and special lighting held the attention of the audience. The future nurses were introduced to a serious topic in a manner that will remain with them throughout their career. The evaluations following the program were all very positive.
